Iron Man Hand made from card stock with pepakura. This is the first thing I have made with pepakura but I plan on doing an entire suit. I used the original model by Zabana modified by Darkside501st

Hello, I am Darkside501st and I just wanted to say that while Zabana's links aren't broken they are on 4shared which is causing some issues with some people. I have also uploaded the rest of his hand files (fingers). Here is a link to my thread: Iron Man Mk VII pepakura files

If you don't mind: [link] It's Zabana's hand files. Truly the monster of the build (Outside the helmet of course)

Did an amazing job on it though, I fear what mine will look like, holding off on them till my pep skills get better.

thanks! this is the first pep model that ive done. i was surprised it didnt come out a lot worse. i dont mind but those links are broken. i never could find working links for Zabana's hand files. i FINALLY found the one i used which is slightly modified by darkside501st.

Ahh, yeah i keep hearing that they were broken, should have checked first. Are darkside's any better to pep?

from what i can tell from pics of Zabana's original yes. they are basically a slightly simplified version of Zabana's hand.

Awesome, will try using them then, hope it all goes well. You using smooth cast or regular resin to harden the pieces?

good luck. i havent gotten around to doing any resin yet. ill prob just end up using whatever is cheapest. lol

For hands and small parts may I suggest using the polyester? I'm finding the smoothon stuff just too flexible for most use. I may not be puting on enough of it, but still. I know two coats of polyester and some glass makes a rock hard piece.
